Following are pictures of the newest Shoptask Quadralift as of July 2000.

Jerry and all, I will try to give the info you need. The four plates are (starting at bottom) 3/4" thick,1/4",3/8" and 1/4" thick on top. The entire length of the four posts are the same smoothness but I'm not sure if the spacers (steel bushings) are machined, reamed or are just a slip fit. I would have to take the lift apart to be able to tell. There does not seem to be any play in the affair even while taking a cut of 30 thou or so in aluminum. There is no way to adjust for perpindicular except for shimming but I dont see that as being much of a problem. Once you shimmed the entire unit for plumb, you could also shim under the millhead casting and the second plate if needed. The Quadralift seems very sturdy and I can see it would be much more stable than the original swivel mount.
